Lie in the Southeastern Europe romania is slowly emerging from the dark shackles of history. Modern romania formed by combining two Principalities ie Moldavian Wallachia in 1859 and ruled by the Ottoman Empire for centuries before. Romania borders with Moldova, Ukraine, in the Black Sea, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and Hungary. Bucharest is the capital of Romania. Transylvania and the northern Moldavian half of the country. Romanias main attractions, including the Black Sea coast, in the Carpathian Mountains and Transylvania. The Black Sea coast which is popular for white sand beaches and offers the perfect experience for families. The Carpathian Mountains are beautiful and protected by a thick forest which offers skiing opportunities. There are also many health resorts in Romania. Transylvania is popular for Romanian Spas which have been known for many healing powers. Local food, including special food such as ciorba de perisoare (soup with meatballs), ciorba tanancasca (meat with vegetables), lamb bors, giblet soup and fish soups.
Population & Language
Romania approximately 22.5 million and the official language used was Romanian. Other popular languages are Hungarian and German.

Geographic location
This is located in Southeastern Europe bordering the Black Sea between Bulgaria and Ukraine. It is bordered by Hungary and Serbia to the west, Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast and Bulgaria to the south. Carpathian Mountains through central Romania.
